Ms. Margaret Molloy
Supervisor of Math and Science Grades 7-12
Ms Molloy joined Lacey Township School District in August 2017. She is excited about an opportunity to share her passion and love of education and mathematics with the Lacey community. Previously, Ms Molloy taught mathematics at Toms River Intermediate South and taught mathematics as an adjunct professor at Ocean County College. During this time, she served on various committees responsible for writing curriculum, designing rigorous, District-wide benchmark assessments, and piloting and adopting new mathematics textbooks. She also coached swimming and served as the Math Team Coach.
Ms Molloy earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Math, Science, and Technology from The College of New Jersey. Ms Molloy’s passion for teaching stems from her own love of learning, which led her to pursue a Master's Degree in Mathematics Education and a Supervisor Endorsement from Rutgers University. Ms Molloy remains tied to the academic community as a member of the New Jersey Math Circles branch, NCTM and other professional organizations.
As educators, it is our responsibility and duty to not only share knowledge, but also spark a desire to learn and an enthusiasm to seek their own knowledge. Ms Molloy is committed to working with the already outstanding math and science team at Lacey Township High School to continually enhance and improve instruction to meet the individual needs of each learner.
