    Welcome to the Lacey Township School District NJSLA Resource Page. These resources will assist in providing parents, students, and community members with information about the NJSLA assessments.

    What is NJSLA?
    Students in grades 3-9 participate in the NJSLA test. The NJSLA assessments are aligned to the New Jersey State Learning Standards (NJSLS) and are intended to measure students' ability to apply their knowledge of concepts. The math assessments require students to solve problems using mathematical reasoning and to be able to demonstrate an understanding of mathematical principles. In English Language Arts (ELA), students will closely read multiple passages, answer comprehension questions, and write essay responses in literary analysis, research tasks, and narrative tasks.

    Who Will take the NJSLA assessments?

    All students in grades 3 through 9 will take the ELA NJSLA assessment.
    All students in grades 3 through 9 will take the Math NJSLA assessment.
