• Illness


    Any child with a temperature of 100.0 degrees or greater, vomiting, diarrhea, undiagnosed rash, untreated pinkeye, untreated strep throat, untreated nits (head lice), impetigo, or scabies will be sent home from school.

    Students sent home with a fever cannot return to school until they are fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication (Tylenol or Motrin).
    (Same for vomiting and diarrhea).

    Students with head lice, as per school policy, cannot return to the building unless checked by the school nurse. No riding the bus to school until cleared by the nurse to be free from active lice/nits.

    Students with pinkeye; must provide the office with a doctor's note upon arrival back to school.
