    Free-loan described and captioned educational media is available to students who are deaf, blind, hard of hearing, visually impaired, or deaf-blind. This educational media is made accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing via captioning and to the blind and visually impaired via description. With over 4,000 titles (and growing!) available for viewing, the DCMP is continuing to provide equal accessibility to these students and the professionals who serve them. There are no user-registration or service fees.

    Khan Academy
    Covering many subjects, including math, science and history, the Khan Academy provides brief tutorials to students who need help understanding a concept or simply want a review before a test. Highly recommended to homebound and LOLA students.

    Films On Demand is a web-based digital video delivery platform that allows you to view streaming videos from Films Media Group anytime, anywhere, 24/7! Lease       or purchase one or one hundred videos, or subscribe to one or more of our subject-specific streaming video collections. Thousands of videos are available for in-class use  and remote viewing from the library, in the dorm, or at home. Our high-quality streaming  videos can be accessed by librarians, faculty, and students through online card catalogs, learning management systems, and distance learning courses. You MUST use your Ocean County Library Card to access.

    Get your own tutoring sessions for free. TeacherTube covers every major discipline with videos that will help you learn at your own pace. 

    TED-Ed
    Perfect for the flipped classroom environment, this video site provides students with curriculum-based lessons. Great to use if you want a refresher or to catch up on something you may have missed in class.

    YouTubeLook for videos that will help you learn difficult concepts. Consider the author, organization and sources of the videos you wish to cite in your research.
