    Mr. DeGeorge is deeply honored to serve as the district’s Business Administrator/Board Secretary. Prior to coming to Lacey Township, Mr. DeGeorge served as the Assistant Superintendent for Business/Board Secretary for the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District in Monmouth County. Previous to that, he functioned as the Business Administrator/Board Secretary at the Borough of Freehold Public School District, also in Monmouth County, and for the Bass River Township Board of Education in Burlington County. His professional career outside of public education includes the independent public accounting firms of Price Waterhouse, Ernst & Young and J.H. Cohn, as well as the financial services firms of The Bank of New York/Mellon and Goldman Sachs.

    Mr. DeGeorge holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Peter's University and a Masters of Arts degree from Seton Hall University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey and a Qualified Purchasing Agent.  Mr. DeGeorge is a native of Jersey City and currently lives in Barnegat with his wife Patty who is a retired Elementary Supervisor at the George J. Mitchell Elementary School in the Little Egg Harbor School District. Mr. DeGeorge is stepfather to two grown children, Dan and Katie. He is a step-grandfather to Dan and his wife Elizabeth's two daughters Malia and Aliana.
    Mr. DeGeorge steadfastly believes that our students come first, and that all members of the district – staff members and community members – work together to provide our students with the best possible education and formation.
