Aimee Del Vento

Athletics Director (Grades 6-12)
Physical Education/Health Supervisor (Grades 6-12 )

Aimee Del Vento has served in a teaching, administrative and coaching capacity for the last 21 years, exclusively in the Lacey Township School District.  She was hired as a Special Education/English teacher at Lacey Township High School in 2003 after earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Monmouth University.  She later went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction from Walden University in 2011 and obtained her Supervisory Certificate in 2017.  After 13 years in the classroom, Aimee began her role of Dean of Culture and Climate in 2016 and was later appointed to the position of Athletics Director for Grades 6-12 and Physical Education/Health Supervisor for Grades 6-12 in 2018.

Over the last 20 years, Aimee has dedicated herself to student success and achievement both in and out of the classroom and has a profound impact on student-athletes.  She has worked as the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach since the program’s conception in 2005, where she collected over 100 wins over the course of 14 seasons.  She was an Assistant Varsity and Head Coach for Women’s Field Hockey and the Head Coach of Winter Cheerleading.  During her time as a coach, her teams earned numerous honors and titles, and many of the student athletes she coached moved on to have successful playing careers at the collegiate level.  She also served on various selection committees around the Shore Conference.

As a former high school and college athlete, Aimee is a proponent of the lasting impression that sports can have on an individual.  She believes that the role of the Lacey Township High School’s Athletics Department is to provide student athletes with opportunities to develop their athletic abilities to the fullest, while protecting their physical well being, in an environment that promotes both rigorous academic standards and the development of leadership characteristics.  Her goal is to foster an environment focused on pride, unity, and competitiveness, where student athletes, faculty, and parents approach competition with sportsmanship and respect for diversity.

Aimee has been a resident of Lacey Township since 2005.  Her twins, Parker and Frankie, are also Lacey Lions and proud of it. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  Aimee is excited to carry on Lacey’s tradition of excellence and wants others to embrace the pride and tradition that exists throughout the community.
